Bubble Wrap

Press and hold a bubble to pop it. Drag to pop a row.

a sheet of bubble wrap on a shipping box. press a bubble and it tightens and bulges round your finger, then pops, drawn by one webgl shader with the box bent through every dome.

key insight: a pop is not a timer. the finger takes volume from a sealed dome, the air answers by boyle's law, the film stretches to hold it, and the bubble bursts when the pressure passes what its film can take. so a slow press pops late and a drag at depth pops a row.

one bubble in sixteen has a pinhole and hisses flat instead.
