# Tab Strip

Drag a tab, or close a few in a row without moving.

a browser's tab strip. close a few tabs in a row and the next close button slides under the pointer each time, so the hand never moves.

key insight: the tabs hold their width while a pointer is closing them, and only grow to fill the strip once it leaves, the way chrome does it.
